Hello RML Managers! A few Saturday morning musings on the things that amuse, bemuse and confuse a man in the wonderful world of RML......That dripping sound is the drool seeping out of my mouth as I pore over the Mariners thouroghly disgusting starting lineup. 354 runs in 1/4 of the season, meanwhile their offence is so jacked that Alex Rodriguez is batting ninth! NINTH!......The Blue Jays have struggled thus far mainly because the big boppers, including offseason addition Kevin Young (who has only 4 homers) are struggling. When the big boys do eventually come out to play however, it may be lights out in the East......If his current pace holds, SSSS (a.k.a Sweet Swinging Sammy Sosa) may once again shatter the RML record books......The Phillies have gotten out of big holes before, but they may finally be on their death throes. The offence is aging and the pitching staff is in shambles.....The Creature would like to wish the new owners well, especially the new Yankees owner Rick Chamberlain. Hopefully he can restore the pride and glory to that franchise......HEROES: Seattle GM, SYLVAIN COUTURE- Trading for Kendall and bringing Junior back to the Pacific Northwest in the offseason have paid huge dividends.......ZEROES: Detroit GM, NICK BRAGG- All talk, no action. With a 12-33 record, he has little to "bragg" about (...and with a cheap pun like that, the Creature may have confirmed his spot as next week's zero) If the Bleacher Creature has offended you in any way, then feel free to moan and wail about it at rmlbleachercreature@hotmail.com |
