A few Saturday afternoon musings on the things that amuse, bemuse and confuse a man in the wonderful world of RML....Rafael Furcal is already off to his gawdy pace, stealing 13 bases in the first week.....Is it just me or is everyone trying to deal their stars nowadays. TAKE JEFF BAGWELL!!! RELEIVE ME OF MANNY RAMIREZ AND HIS 40 HOMERS!!! LET ME BE RID OF RICH ANKIEL AND HIS 2.00 ERA!!! I CAN"T STAND IT! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! TAKE RAFAEL PALMEIRO OFF MY HANDS! I'LL PAY YOU!!!.....But seriously, someone please take Rafael Palmeiro off Chris Buskey's hands. Its almost painful to watch. I bet you could get a draft pick out of it too.....After a lengthy absence, its nice to see that the Booze Bag hasn't lost his sense of humility in recent postings......I see Bryant Burton has picked up where he left off last year, throwing 16 shutout innings to start the season. Do you want you 2003 Cy Young bonus now, Mr. Burton? Or would you rather wait?.....HEROES: ORLANDO MERCED of the San Fransisco Giants- Five home runs in the first week alone......ZEROES: ABSENTEE OWNERS- Why do you bother joining in the first place?.....Good luck to all at the start of the 2003 season! |
