Catcher: DAVE BERG, Toronto (.332, 3hr, 32 rbi, .393 oba)- Great defence and good contact hitter

1st Base: KEVIN YOUNG, Boston (.352, 24 hr, 75 rbi, 1.067 prod.)- Last year's MVP runner up is back at it

2nd Base: TONY BATISTA, Toronto (.289, 22hr, 64 rbi)- Another MVP runner up who is reproducing the numbers

Shortstop: OMAR VIZQUEL, Baltimore (.319, 5hr, 51 runs, 31 sb)- Igniting the best offence in the league

3rd Base: ARAMIS RAMIREZ, Chicago A (.324, 14hr, 55 rbi, .405 oba)- A good young building block on a rebuilding team

Outfield #1: RYAN KLESKO, Kansas City (.299, 21hr, 101 rbi)- Runaway M.V.P candidate

Outfield #2: ROGER CEDENO, N.Y Yankees (.320, 3hr, 71 runs, 51 sb)- Finally producing like he's expected

Outfield #3: JEREMY GIAMBI, Kansas City (.382, 15hr, 74 rbi, .456 oba)- One of the best young outfielders in baseball

Starter #1: RICH ANKIEL, Toronto (10-3, 2.30 era)- A free-agent to be?

Starter #2: BEN MCDONALD, Baltimore (9-3, 3.09 era)- Another fabulous season

Starter #3: SEAN LEVIN, Milwaukee (13-6, 3.28 era)- Good young pitcher on an up and coming team

Starter #4: CHRIS CARPENTER, Toronto (9-5, 3.49 era)- Picking up the slack for Yarnall

Starter #5: FREDDY GARCIA, Seattle (8-7, 3.15 era)- Leading his team back to the playoffs

Reliever #1: MARIANO RIVERA, N.Y Yankees (1-0, 0.00, 20 sv)- Absolutely perfect

Reliever #2: TOM GORDON (1-1, 2.25, 12 sv)- Still one of the best

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Catcher: JAVY LOPEZ, Chicago A (.329, 24hr, 59 rbi)- A great season on a bad team

1st Base: RICHIE SEXSON, Montreal (.291, 28hr, 64 rbi)- Atoning for last year's sins

2nd Base: MARCUS GILES, Atlanta (.329, 27hr, 66 rbi)- Has already beat last year's totals

Shortstop: RAFAEL FURCAL, Atlanta (.302, 0hr, 60 runs, 100 sb)- 100 steals by the all-star break...enough said

3rd Base: TROY GLAUS, Atlanta (.309, 26hr, 71 rbi)- Troy "Kirk Gibson" Glaus is back at it

Outfield #1: SAMMY SOSA, Chicago N (.331, 32 hr, 75 rbi, 10 sb)- Sweet swinging Sammy is back

Outfield #2: KEN GRIFFEY JR., Chicago N (.298, 32hr, 79 rbi)- Never has a team with so many stars been so bad

Outfield #3: ANDRUW JONES, Atlanta (.283, 30hr, 81 rbi, 14 sb)- The total package

Starter #1: KEN CLOUDE, Atlanta (12-0, 2.20 era)- That trade with Pittsburgh is looking good

Starter #2: PEDRO MARTINEZ, Atlanta (12-3, 2.42 era)- Picking up where he left off in the World Series

Starter #3: SCOTT ELARTON, Los Angeles (10-3, 2.23 era)- How did the Dodgers get this guy?

Starter #4: BARTOLO COLON, Atlanta (9-3, 2.27 era)- Pitching over his head

Starter #5: DAVE SHINE, Los Angeles (9-1, 2.45 era)- 2001 Rookie of the Year continues to.....shine

Reliever #1: ANTONIO OSUNA, Los Angeles (0-1, 2.59, 19 sv)- Closing them out effectively

Reliever #2: UGUETH URBINA, Montreal (2-1, 4.81, 21 sv)- Uugie's e.r.a isn't great but he's 100% and leads the league in saves
